Orange jam - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients:
  • 400-450 grams of oranges
  • 350 grams of sugar
  • 1 lemon

Peel the oranges so that only the pulp remains, otherwise it will be a bit bitter. Try to remove even the white skin between the pulp and the outer peel.

Pour the juice from a big lemon over the orange pulp. Add the sugar and let everything rest over night in the fridge.

The next day boil at slow fire for 35-40 minutes, mixing from time to time.

While it´s still warm, but not too hot, put it in the jar. Use small jars, as you will not have a lot of jam with this quantity of ingredients.

The mosque cathedral in Cordoba, Spain

Mezquita, as it is called by locals, is a perfect example of "up yours" throughout the history. Currently a Christian worship place, it will probably return to being a muslim one within the next 300 years.
