Yogurt homemade ice cream - recipe (including photos)

Ingredients:
  • 250 grams of yogurt
  • 200 grams of fresh cream
  • 150 milliliters of milk
  • 110 grams of sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • vanilla sugar

Mix 50 grams of sugar with the egg yolks until the sugar is melted.
Add the milk and mix.

Put the composition to boil at slow fire. When creamy put it aside to cool.

Mix the fresh cream with the remaining sugar.

Add the yogurt and the vanilla sugar and mix for few minutes.

Add the egg composition over the fresh cream and mix for 1-2 minutes.

Put the composition in the freezer. After 1 hour take it out of the freezer and mix it again to avoid the formation of ice needles. Then put it back in the freezer.

Enjoy!

That’s yummy and healthy! This is certainly better than the ones we’ve been buying in groceries. Since it is homemade, it’s more nutritious and free of preservatives. I’d add more egg yolk for my version of this though. I love egg yolk! LOL!
